Sommario L’osteoporosi postmenopausale è un processo per il quale tessuto osseo sviluppa una fragilità risultando più suscettibile alle fratture anche traumi che solitamente non comporterebbero tali eventi. La carenza estrogenica punto fondamentale nella patogenesi dell’osteoporosi. TOS rappresenta trattamento di scelta prevenzione della osteoporosi e delle correlate, soprattutto nei primi anni postmenopausa.
